First Holy Communion Both groups now meet together at 4.30 p.m. on

The Friday Penance Canon 1215 in the Code of Canon Law states that
“Abstinence from meat, or some other food….is to be observed on all Fridays,
unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday.” A feast-day of this rank does fall
on Friday this week. So, enjoy St Joseph’s Day!

May Fayre It is time to start planning. The date will be the Spring Bank
Holiday, Monday 31st May. I will shortly put up a list for volunteers. We shall
need a lot of new help this year as several people who have worked the day in
the past have moved away.
