First Holy Communion Both groups now meet together at 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday

The Friday Penance Canon 1215 in the Code of Canon Law states that “Abstinence from meat, or some other food….is to be observed on all Fridays, unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday.” A feast-day of this rank does fall on Friday this week. So, enjoy St Joseph’s Day!

Next Sunday will be the Fifth Sunday of Lent, Year C.

Red Mission Box Collection Please bring your boxes into Stow and Bourton Churches as soon as possible so that accounts can be made up by the end of the month. If you have any queries or would like a mission box contact Jenny Goodwin (01451 810019) in Stow and Pat Gibb (01451 820580) in Bourton.

May Fayre It is time to start planning. The date will be the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 31st May. I will shortly put up a list for volunteers. We shall need a lot of new help this year as several people who have worked the day in the past have moved away.

THE SACRED TRIDUUM

Confessions before Easter Each Saturday as usual, plus:
at Bourton: 6.30-6.50 p.m. on Tuesday 23rd March
at Stow: 11.30-12.00 noon on Holy Thursday, 1st April

There is a list for volunteers as Readers for the Triduum on the table.
I will soon ask for volunteers for the Foot-washing on Holy Thursday.
